About Us

Second Chance Animal Foundation, Inc. is committed to offering animals a second chance at a healthy, happy life through off-setting their medical debt. Our goal is to help provide funding necessary so an animal can receive the medical care needed to recover. We will also enable the rescue to set up fundraising through our website. Second Chance Animal Foundation will provide funding through donors with 100% of the donations going to the care of the animal in need. As a nonprofit organization, we believe we can make an impact by providing the tools necessary through marketing, fundraising, and communities so that we all can save lives and help stop the suffering of the voiceless. It is our obligation to support those who do not have a voice.

“Animals are near and dear to my heart, and I’ve devoted my life to trying to improve their lives.”

About The Founder

Renee started rescuing animals as young as seven when she brought her first stray home and named her Fido! From that point on, there has never been a day without a rescue in the home. Renee spent seven years working for two veterinary offices during her 20s. Taking time off to raise two children, she continued rescuing, fostering, or adopting both dogs and cats. Over the last 30 years, Renee and her family have been animal advocates. Renee’s current fur babies are Lily and Rosie. Lily was rescued eight years ago from abuse and had a close call with euthanasia. Rosie was found abandoned and in a shelter terrified almost five years ago. Both are amazing and perfect dogs! Rosie and Lily have many cousins in the family, which include, Sissy, Tito (the lone cat), Lulu, Luna, and Olive.

"When I look into the eyes of an animal, I do not see an animal. I see a living being. I see a friend. I feel a soul.”
